On the sideThe Hamazons and alumni are very busy women who can be seen performing, teaching and playing at venues throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Here’s what we are up to:

Ashland Children's Theatre ~ The Acting Academy Ashland Children's Theatre offers a delightful assortment of classes and workshops taught by the lovely and talented Eve Smyth. Teen Theatre – Kyndra Laughery directs this Rogue Valley gem. Formerly known as Planned Parenthood’s Teen Theatre, and Crater Cabaret, the group is now under the sponsorship of Lotus Rising Project. This eclectic group of teens creates original material and performs locally on issues surrounding LGBT youth. Theatre of the Crackpot Crones—Carolyn Myers teams up with playwright/comedienne Terri Baum to create the outrageous, hilarious, feminist, touring duo. Their theatre is an evening of scenes, monologues and improvisations—interspersed with stories of adventures in the women’s movement. For more information check out http://www.crackpotcrones.com

Going to Scotland! Cil Stengel and a group of committed drama students (and one amazing high school drama teacher) are living the dream and taking an original piece of theatre to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2010.
