The Legend of The Hamazons
The exact origin of The Hamazons remains shrouded in mist. Legend has it they were the clown-shaman caste of the famous women-warrior tribes of Amazonia. While laughter and tomfoolery were encouraged as a way to tolerate the discomforts of life before indoor plumbing, the wise Hamazon was always aware of the risks involved in insulting, threatening, cussing at or arousing her cannibal neighbors. Thus evolved The Sacred Hamazon Creed: Avoid profanity, graphic sexuality, gratuitous violence and the degradation of humankind.
Also known as the Warrior Princesses of Comedy, the modern tribe of The Hamazons came together during the summer of 1999. Their mission: To promote the power of laughter as a viable energy source that fosters unity and stimulates your immune system.
When they are not hysterically producing shows throughout the Rogue Valley, The Hamazons are available for private bookings. Holiday parties, fund-raising events, conferences ... whatever tickles your funny bone. For more info, please go to How to Book Us.
